PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Available for in-person and virtual sessions.

Whether you are pushing yourself to thrive or fighting suicidal ideation, I will meet you where you are and draw on all my knowledge and experience to support you in a safe and nonjudgmental space. I am a transgender therapist. My life experiences thus far give me the confidence to support those in the LGBTQ+, polyamorous, Effective Altruist, asexual, aromantic, STEM, and Spanish-speaking communities.

My style tends to be humanistic and existential. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gestalt. As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about continuing to explore emerging theories and techniques.

I have had the unconventional path of growing as a child of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. I switched from a Cornell Tech PhD to pursue the deeply meaningful work of living our all too human lives.
