Many of us learn to relate to ourselves through criticism, performance, or adaptation long before we realize we’re doing it. Therapy can be a place to step out of those patterns, to become more honest about what you feel, what you need, and how you want to live.
My style is warm, collaborative, and thoughtful. I work both practically and relationally, helping clients navigate distress, self-criticism, and emotional disconnection while also exploring the experiences and patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others. Often, the ways we learn to cope make sense in the context of our lives, even when they eventually leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, grief, and stress. I also have particular experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, including those exploring gender, sexuality, belonging, as well as nontraditional relationship structures like CNM and polyamory. Therapy with me is conversational and engaged. You do not need to arrive with perfect language for your experience. Together, we make sense of things gradually, with curiosity rather than judgment.
